Everland as a Day Trip from Seoul
Which red bus to take from Gangnam, Jamsil or Seoul Station, what a day pass costs on Everland's page for international visitors, how the app's Smart Queue works, and how to get back to Seoul after the fireworks.
Take a direct red bus: 5002 from Gangnam, 5700 from Jamsil or 4105 from Seoul Station, ₩3,200 each way by card; the 4105 takes about an hour. An adult all-day pass costs ₩65,000 at the gate in November 2026, and Everland’s booking page for international visitors sells cheaper tickets, such as an afternoon pass from ₩29,500 in November and December. From November 2 to 8 the park is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. Install the Everland app before you go: some rides and shows can only be booked through its Smart Queue, and which ones changes by the day.

Which bus goes from Seoul to Everland?
Everland’s directions page lists five regular buses from Seoul: 5002, 4105, 5700, 1500-2 and 1113. For most visitors the first three matter. All are Gyeonggi express-seat buses with a flat fare of ₩3,200 for adults, by card or cash. Pay with a T-money card.
The 5002 and 5700 each run as an A and a B route, and the Gyeonggi Bus Information System stop lists show which one you need in each direction. Buses into Everland stop at Everland (drop-off platform), shown in Korean as 에버랜드(하차홈); buses back to Seoul leave from Everland (boarding platform), 에버랜드(승차홈).
| Bus | Where to board in Seoul | Departures toward Everland | Returns from Everland? |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5002A | Sinnonhyeon Station, Gangnam Station (Shinbundang Line median-lane stop, 신분당선강남역(중)), Yangjae Station, Maeheon Citizen’s Forest | From Sinnonhyeon 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., every 10 to 20 minutes | No, take 5002B |
| 5002B | Sinnonhyeon Station only | From Sinnonhyeon 2:20 p.m. to midnight | Yes, via Yangjae and Gangnam to Sinnonhyeon; last bus leaves its Yongin depot at 11 p.m. |
| 4105 | Seoul Station Bus Transfer Center (platform 5), Sungnyemun, Namdaemun Market, Namsan Tunnel 3, Haebangchon | From Seoul Station 7:40 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. | Yes, via Myeong-dong and Seoul City Hall to Seoul Station; last bus leaves Yangji at 10:40 p.m. |
| 5700A | Gangbyeon Station, Jamsil Station, Seokchon, Songpa, Garak Market, Suseo Station | From Gangbyeon 6:50 to 10:20 a.m., every 25 to 35 minutes | No, take 5700B |
| 5700B | Same stops as 5700A | From Gangbyeon 11 a.m. to 12:10 a.m., every 35 to 45 minutes | Yes, to Suseo, Jamsil and Gangbyeon; last bus leaves its Yongin terminus at 10:50 p.m. |
Going: from Gangnam, take the 5002A before 2 p.m.; after that, board the 5002B at Sinnonhyeon Station, because it does not stop at Gangnam or Yangjae on the way out. From Jamsil, take the 5700A in the morning and the 5700B from 11 a.m. Coming back: only the 5002B, 5700B and 4105 call at Everland’s boarding platform.
The times are from the Gyeonggi bus timetable list and are departures from each route’s terminus, not from Everland. The 4105 runs every 20 to 70 minutes at weekends; on weekdays its gaps range from 15 minutes to more than three hours.
Our recommendation: if you are staying near Gangnam, take a morning 5002A; it is the most frequent of the three. If you are north of the river, the 4105 saves you a transfer, but check the next departure on a map app before you walk to platform 5, because weekday gaps can be long.
How long does the bus from Seoul to Everland take?
From Seoul Station, the 4105 takes about an hour to the Everland bus platform, according to Samsung C&T, which runs Everland and announced the route on July 30, ahead of its start on August 1, 2026. The same announcement puts the old trip from Seoul Station with transfers at about 1 hour 40 to 50 minutes. For the 5002 and 5700, Naver Map shows the journey time from your stop and runs in English (how to set it up).
Can you get to Everland by subway?
Yes. Take the Suin-Bundang Line to Giheung, change to the Yongin EverLine light rail, ride to the last stop, Jeondae·Everland, and board the free shuttle bus to the park. In Seoul, the Suin-Bundang Line runs through Gangnam at Seolleung and Seonjeongneung and runs to Wangsimni; a map app will plan the leg from where you are staying to Giheung. The EverLine timetable runs trains from Giheung from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., every 3 to 6 minutes between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m., and the ride is just under half an hour. The EverLine fare is a base fare of ₩1,550 by card for an adult plus ₩100 for every 5 km beyond 10 km, and the metropolitan transfer discount applies when you tap the same card you used on the subway.
Everland’s shuttle from Jeondae·Everland Station runs from 7:30 a.m. until one hour after the park closes, every 5 to 10 minutes, and also goes to Caribbean Bay. The last EverLine train back to Giheung leaves Jeondae·Everland at 11:30 p.m.
How much is an Everland ticket?
An adult all-day pass at the gate costs ₩65,000 in November 2026 and ₩55,000 in December; children and seniors pay ₩10,000 less.
| Month | Adults and teenagers (13 to 64) | Children (36 months to 12) and seniors (65 and over) |
|---|---|---|
| November 2026 | ₩65,000 | ₩55,000 |
| December 2026 | ₩55,000 | ₩45,000 |
Children under 36 months enter free, and staff may ask for proof of age. Coin-operated games, rentals and special exhibitions cost extra.
Foreign visitors can pay less on Everland’s booking page for international visitors, which Everland promotes in an October 1 notice and which TicketManager operates. On November 2 it listed an afternoon pass, valid from 3 p.m. on any day from November 1 to December 31, from ₩29,500; a two-person all-day pass for the same period from ₩72,900; and November Q-Passes, which skip the line for one ride and do not include entry, from ₩15,400. Its FAQ says it takes Visa, Mastercard, JCB and UnionPay cards, Alipay and Samsung Pay, and emails a QR code that you show at the gate.
Everland’s own Smart Reservation site also sells cheaper tickets (on October 16, an adult all-day pass from ₩47,000), but it is not open to every visitor. Its FAQ says only Everland website members can book, and Everland’s terms limit Smart Reservation to full members, who complete identity verification when they sign up. Associate members, who sign up without it, can use Smart Queue but cannot buy on Smart Reservation.
What time does Everland open?
Everland opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. every day from November 2 to 8, and at 8 p.m. on November 9, the period its daily operation page covered on November 2; the schedule is published a week at a time. On busy days Everland may open the gates early, at a time decided on the day, according to a May 2026 notice. An October 21 notice says the Everland Special Fireworks continue until November 23, with some days off; the daily page shows each day’s show time. Rides can stop in heavy rain, strong wind or low temperatures.
How do you see the pandas at Everland?
The pandas are in Panda World, open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., where each visit has been limited to 10 minutes since October 1, 2026, per Everland’s October 6 notice; the Panda World page says some animals may not be on display, depending on their health. Shu Bao, the cub Ai Bao gave birth to at Panda World on June 3, 2026, has been on public view in Panda World with her mother since October 30, and Everland said on October 27 that it will widen her viewing hours and visitor numbers step by step. The twins Rui Bao and Hui Bao live in Panda Second House, where viewing is also time-limited and may switch to a walk-through without stopping when it is crowded, per the same notice.
The twins are leaving. Everland announced on September 30 that they will move to China in the third week of December 2026. On October 19 it said their month of pre-move quarantine starts on November 13 in Panda Second House, where they will stay on limited view in the indoor enclosure, and that their last public day is scheduled for December 11, subject to change. If seeing them is the point of your trip, go before November 13.
How does Everland’s Smart Queue work?
Smart Queue is the Everland app’s virtual line: for a ride or show that uses it, you reserve a time in the app, and you cannot queue for it on site. The park guide map says the app’s facility information shows which rides and shows use it; the list can change with the weather; and a Smart Queue can close early when it fills, after which you cannot get in.
To use it, you log in to the app as an Everland member and register your ticket there, according to the Smart Reservation FAQ. Everland’s terms give Smart Queue to associate members too, who sign up without identity verification. The Everland app is listed on the US App Store with English and Korean as its languages.
Our recommendation: install the Everland app and sign up before you leave Seoul. If you bought your ticket online, register it on the bus; if you buy at the gate, register it right after paying. Once you are through the gate, check which rides and shows use Smart Queue that day and book the ones you most want first, then plan the rest of the day around those times.
Is Lost Valley open in autumn 2026?
No: the usual Lost Valley vehicle tour is closed from September 7 to November 30, 2026, per an Everland notice. In its place, a walking safari, Wild Savanna Expedition, lets visitors cross Lost Valley on foot, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday to Sunday and 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, on the daily schedule for November 2 to 8.
Is Caribbean Bay included in the Everland ticket?
No. Caribbean Bay, the water park next door, has its own ticket: ₩45,000 for adults and ₩36,000 for children and seniors for a full day in its low season, September 28 to December 31, or ₩39,000 and ₩30,000 for entry from 2:30 p.m. Its daily page shows which zones are open and their hours, which change by day. Combining both parks in one day trip leaves little time for either.
What time is the last bus from Everland to Seoul?
The last buses back leave their Yongin termini at 10:40 p.m. (4105), 10:50 p.m. (5700B) and 11 p.m. (5002B), and reach Everland’s boarding platform after that, so on a 9 p.m. closing day all three still run after the fireworks. The Gyeonggi Bus Information System estimates the run from each terminus to the platform at roughly 40 minutes for the 4105 and 30 minutes for the 5002B and 5700B. Be at the boarding platform by 10:45 p.m.; this is our planning margin, not an official time.
If you miss the buses, the subway will not get you back late. The last Suin-Bundang train toward Seoul (Wangsimni) leaves Giheung at 11:04 p.m. on weekdays and 11:22 p.m. on weekends and public holidays, per Korail’s timetable; later trains end at Jukjeon, short of Seoul. With the EverLine taking about half an hour, leave Jeondae·Everland Station by 10:20 p.m. on weekdays or 10:40 p.m. at weekends (our margin again). The last EverLine train at 11:30 p.m. only takes you to Giheung; from there, a taxi is the remaining option (taxis and Kakao T).
